Our basic routine is outlined in the following daily schedule.  Please keep in mind that flexibility is a must when caring for a mixed age group of children, therefore the time frame listed below is subject to change according to the needs of the children in care.

Before 7:00 am Early arrivals may either lay down with a movie or have quiet play time until breakfast is served.
7:00 - 7:20 School kids wash hands and are served breakfast.
7:20 School bus arrives.
7:20 - 7:30 Bathroom break, Wash hands.
7:30 - 8:15 Breakfast served, Wash Hands, Brush Teeth, and Clean up.
8:15 - 8:30 Circle Time - Introduce plans for the day, Read Story or Play Game.
8:30 - 9:15 Free Play, Center Time or Art.
9:15 - 9:30 Bathroom break, Wash hands, Clean Up.
9:30 - 10:00 AM Snack, Wash Hands.
10:00 - 11:15 Outside Play.  (Sand/Water Play 3X's per week)
11:15 - 11:30 Bathroom Break, Wash Hands.
11:30 - 12:00 Free Play.
12:00 - 12:45 Lunch, Wash Hands, Bathroom Break.
12:45 - 1:00 Prepare for rest time with Transitional Quiet Time Activity.
1:00 - 2:45 Rest Time
2:45 - 3:00 Bathroom Break, Wash Hands.
3:00 - 3:45 PM Snack, Wash Hands.
3:45 - 4:30 Free Play or Outside Play.
4:30 - 5:00 Clean Up, Bathroom Break, Wash Hands, Gather Belongings, Prepare for Parents Arrival.
5:00 - 5:45 Free Play, (school kids do homework).
5:45 - 6:00 Clean Up, Bathroom Break, Wash Hands.
6:00 - 6:45 Supper, Wash Hands, Clean Up.
6:45 - 7:45 Free Play
7:45 - 8:00 Clean Up, Wash Hands.
8:00 - 8:15 Late Night Snack, Bathroom Break, Wash Hands.
8:15 - 8:30 Prepare for Rest Time, Transitional Quiet Time Activity.
8:30 - Rest Time.
